In 1999, eager to serve and learn, Gabriel Santiago began his adventure in the Food and Beverage Industry. He has gained experience in all service areas from Fine Dining, Casual Dining, Pubs and Cruise Lines. He has worked in the most prestigious restaurants and hotels such as: Morton's Steakhouse (fine dining San Juan, PR opening crew) Nobu Restaurant (South Beach Miami, FL high end fine dining) Mandarin Oriental Hotel (Brickell Miami, FL 5 diamonds 5 stars) NCL America Cruises (Hawaii), W Retreat Spa Vieques Island PR, and OOF! Inc. Restaurants (Old San Juan, P.R.).

 

Today, Gabriel Santiago is an accomplished professional in Mixology / Bartending and customer service.

For him, being a bartender is much more than preparing the guest his favorite drink; being able to provide exceptional levels of customer service. For all the experiences obtained through their various jobs, OpenBar emerged for hotels, restaurants and businesses that do not have the time to run a bar logistic or beverage program.
